Rouses Point, NY - Aline Bedard, 89, of Rouses Point, born Dec. 23, 1935 the daughter of Oliva and Jeanne Bechard. Aline died on Friday, March 21, 2025, at her home under Hospice Care with her loving family by her side.

She was raised in St. Valentine, Quebec Canada and was the eldest of 6 children. She was a much loved wife, mom, grandmother, sister, aunt and neighbor and will be truly missed. She loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed reading, Sudoku, puzzles of all kinds and cooking/baking.

She is survived by her children, Lawrence (Melissa) Bedard, Suzanne (Claude) Dessureault, Diane (Richard) LaFontaine, Johanne (David) Ducatte, Helen (Lonnie) Bechard, Roger (Tina) Bedard, daughter-in-law, Helen Bedard, son-in-law, Joseph Bourdeau, 20 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by her 4 sisters, Pauline Bechard, Rollande Fortin, Monique (Roland) Langlois, all of St. Jean PQ, Pierette Martin, St. Edouard, PQ and one brother, Normand (Jill) Bechard, brothers-in-law James, Real, and Peter Bedard. Sisters-in-law Claire Clark, Anita Giroux and Marylou Bedard.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Clement, on November 10, 1963, her parents, her son Rene Bedard and daughter, Madeleine Bourdeau, many brothers and sisters-in-law, and several nieces and nephews and a granddaughter who died at birth.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 27th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church in Rouses Point, NY. A celebration of Life will follow at the Knights of Columbus, Champlain, N.Y. Interment will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery on Church Street later this spring.
