Thomas (Sam)'s Story

Text size

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas (Sam) Frazier, 64, of Oviedo, Fla. (formerly of Keeseville, N.Y.) on August 17, 2017. Sam was born in Plattsburgh on March 4, 1953 the son of Charles and Lorena (Lincoln) Frazier. He joined the United States Army and proudly served his country.
Sam worked for many years as a carpenter, cabinet maker and project superintendent. His most recent hobby was doing woodworking in his shop. He enjoyed just kicking back with his family and friends with a beer and conversation and his infectious laughter. Sam enjoyed fishing and loved spending time at his brother, Mark's camp on the Highlands Rd. in Keeseville. Sam never needed material things to bring him happiness; his children and grandchildren provided him the most joy. Spending his final days with his children and grandchildren were the happiest times of Sam's life. Sam was a joy to be around and his family will find much comfort reminiscing and re-telling all of his great stories...and we quote "hey give me four"!!! Sam touched the lives of so many during his lifetime; he's now in the hands of God and we will miss him dearly, but will forever cherish the memories. Sam was a very giving person and showed that in his death as well by donating his body to science and his eyes to a 12 year old child in need.
Sam is survived by his sons, Bradford Frazier and wife Latoya, Charles Frazier and wife Amanda, Devin Frazier and companion Bianca; grandchildren, Keshawn, Charles Jr., Charlotte, Ireland and Lukas; a brother, Mark Frazier and wife Anne; a sister, Dorothy Bonville and husband Bill; a sister, Lori Sepulveda and husband Francisco; a sister, Flo Lange and husband Bill; and several nieces and nephews.
Sam was predeceased by a grandchild, Addison; mother, Lorena (Lincoln) Frazier; and father Charles Frazier.
At Sam's request, there are no calling hours. Sam will be cremated and his family and close friends will celebrate his life privately. Sam always said, "Don't shed tears over me, I lived a good life, and want you to celebrate that." Soar with the angels Pops.
