Sherry's Story

Sherry L. Beane, 57, of Santor Lane, passed away, Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the Moffit Cancer Center in Tampa, Fla., following a short battle with lung cancer.
She was born in Plattsburgh, August 15, 1959, the daughter of the late, Donald C. and Betty Jane (Gumlaw) Hilborne. Sherry grew up in Keeseville and graduated from Ausable Valley High School in 1978. She married the love of her life David A. Beane Sr., Sept. 24, 1978 in Morrisonville at the home of a family friend.
Sherry worked as a retail shop/grocery store manager for over 25 years. Sherry also was a member of The Church of the Nazarene in Plattsburgh. Sherry enjoyed baking, crocheting, sewing, relaxing in the sun, going to church, but most of all spending time with her family. Anyone who knew her well knew her six grandkids were her life.
Left to cherish the memory of Sherry are, her loving husband of 39 years, David Beane; two children and their spouses, Crystal Beane-Lattrell and Corey Lattrell and David Beane Jr. and Tiffany Beane; grandchildren, Brady and Bailey Lattrell, Rozzlynn and Kaydann Beane, Bryely Ryan-Beane, and Hayden Lowther; siblings, Donald (Shelly) Hilborne, Scott (Abbi) Hilborne, Brenda (Will) Schneider, Tammy (Steve) Bezio, and Todd (Cathy) Hilborne; mother-in-law, Eloise Beane; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and sisters-in-law; and special family members, Celena Solorza and Ella Perkins.
In addition to her parents; Sherry was predeceased by her father-in-law, Kenneth Beane.
Her family will be hosting a celebration of her life from 1 to 5 pm Sunday, July 23, 2017 on Parents' Day at the Keeseville Elks Lodge.
Donations in her memory may be made to The Church of the Nazarene.
