Sally Ann's Story
Sally Ann Reynolds)Brockington of Alpharetta, Ga., and Queensbury, N.Y., formerly of Hudson Falls, N.Y., and Chazy, N.Y., passed away peacefully at the North Fulton Hospital in Georgia on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Sally was 82, born June 3, 1934, to the late Kenneth Reynolds and to the late Sadie (Stafford) Reynolds of West Chazy, (Ingraham) N.Y. Besides her parents, she
was predeceased by her youngest brother, Dale Reynolds.
Sally was a 1953 graduate of Chazy Central High School. She continued her education at the Champlain Valley Nursing School, and then attained an accounting position at Georgia Pacific Paper Mill in Plattsburgh, N.Y., prior to her April 22, 1956, wedding to the love of her life, Earrold. Sally and Earrold raised two children. She was a life-long member of the Eastern Star and cherished her church with a strong faith in God. Sally will be remembered by all who knew her as a gentle soul, the epitome of loving kindness and generosity.
Sally is survived by her devoted and loving husband of nearly 61 years, Earrold Brockington; her son, Sam (Nancy) Brockington of Milton, Ga.; her daughter, Ellen (Paul) Martin of Queensbury, N.Y.; her beloved grandchildren, Keith (Nicole) Brockington; Patrick Brockington and Megan Brockington; her sisters, Carol Ladd; Linda (Jak) Phillips; brother Donald Reynolds and sisters-in-law, Eunice (Alan) Hislop and Eleanor Reynolds; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service is planned to take place at the United Methodist Church, 227 Main St., Hudson Falls, N.Y., on June 25, 2017, at 1 p.m. and (TBA) a burial service will take place a few days later at the Chazy Cemetery in Chazy, N.Y.
