Mrs. Rosemary G. Martin, 78, of Morrisonville, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at the Emory House with her loving family by her side and under the care of Hospice of the North Country. She was born in Plattsburgh, N.Y., on Oct. 8, 1938, the daughter of the late Arthur N. and Hortense (O'Meara) Graves. Rosemary was a licensed practical nurse and retired from Meyer Pharmacy. She enjoyed bingo, casinos, knitting, word search puzzles and spending time with her family. Rosemary was predeceased by her parents, her husband Ross Martin and her brother Thomas Graves.
She is survived by her children, Randy Martin and his wife Beth of Plattsburgh, Rhonda Bailey and her husband Stu of Plattsburgh; her siblings, Kathy Gallagher and her husband Howard of Fairfax, Vt., Arthur Graves and his wife Sarah of Peru, David Graves and his wife Debbie of Morrisonville; her grandchildren, Heather and Kyle Bailey and companion Eryn Rabideau and Ben Duffy, and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be from 3 to 6 p.m. on Monday, March 20, at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. A funeral service
will follow at 6 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will be in at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 21, at Whispering Maples Mausoleum in Plattsburgh. Memorial donations may be offered to her family.
