A Mass of Christian burial for Roldon N. Brown, 80, who passed away peacefully Friday, April 28, 2017, was celebrated on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at 11 a.m. at St. Alexander's Church in Morrisonville. The Mass was celebrated by Rev. Scott Seymour, pastor and assisted by David Pereira. The organist was Ben Reavis and soloist was Lily Styles. The pall was placed by granddaughter Melissa Bouvia-Blume and his grandson Matthew Bouvia. The Crucifix was placed by his wife Joyce, the Bible was placed by daughter Deborah Bouvia and the Rosaries were placed by his sister Dianna Seymour. The readers were Debra Juneau and Diane Burl. The offertory gifts were presented by Dianna and Gerald Seymour. The pallbearers were Danny Jarvis, Ricky Gero, Randy Burnell, Joe Burl, Stephen Seymour and David Seymour. Entombment was in Whispering Maples Mausoleum where Rev. Seymour read committal prayers and full military honors were accorded by the Vermont Air National Guard and American Legion Post 20.
