Phyllis K. Phelps, 74, of the Rand Hill Road, Morrisonville, died Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at the UVM Health Network, CVPH in Plattsburgh.
She was born in Bucyrus, Ohio, Dec. 17, 1942, the daughter of the late, Myron and Isabelle (Willey) Tobey. She graduated from Prospect High School in Prospect, Ohio.
Phyllis was a beautician for several years, then a loving housewife. She especially enjoyed quilting, bird-watching, sewing, reading, cooking, and especially her dogs. Above all was her family and her Church.
Left to cherish the memory of Phyllis are, her loving husband of 56 years, Kenny Phelps; son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Jean Phelps; beloved grandsons, Nathan, Benjamin, and Stephen Phelps; and her sister, Deanna (Tobey) Hedges.
A celebration of her life will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, June 19, at the Bible Baptist Church, 4635 State Route Nine, Plattsburgh, with Pastor Robert Fry, officiating.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Bible Baptist Church in Plattsburgh.
