Nancy Louise Braunstein, 70, Morrisonville, N.Y., passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017, at UVHN:CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Jan. 19, 1947, the daughter of Alfred and Agnes (Fitzgerald) Staehle.
Nancy was retired after working in the Business Office at CVPH Medical Center for a number of years, where she had many friends and colleagues. She was a dedicated wife, mother, caregiver and a friend to many.
She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, William Braunstein of Morrisonville, a son, Michael Braunstein of San Francisco, Calif.; her siblings, Patricia Brandel of West Islip, N.Y., and her husband the late Edward Brandel, Penny Cummings and husband Joseph of Morrisonville; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews also survive her.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 6:30 p.m. in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
