Mark W. Roark, 52, of Pear Street, passed away on Monday, April 3, 2017, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born in Great Falls, Mont., on Sept. 1, 1964, the son of the late James Roark and Phyllis Hendrie.
Mark enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, fishing and going camping. He also like to play the slot machines. Most of all, Mark loved the time he spent with his family and friends and the moments they shared.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Roark of Plattsburgh; four daughters, Bethany Roark and companion Marc Prim of Plattsburgh, Jessica Laporte and companion Christopher Arreola of Indiana, Danielle Page of Plattsburgh, and Casandra Quinn and husband Benjamin of Keeseville; one son, Mark Roark and companion Lori Blaise of Keeseville; his mother, Phyllis Hendrie of Plattsburgh; three siblings, Barry Roark of Plattsburgh, Gregory Roark and wife Linda of Plattsburgh, and Sara Lacroix and husband David of Peru; six grandchildren, Mia, Ayden and Avery Arreola, Alyvia Page, Gavin Blaise, and Cassius Quinn; and several nieces and nephews.
Mark was predeceased by his father, one brother, Stacey Roark, and his in-laws, Wayne and Mary Akey.
Calling hours will be held from noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 9, at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home.
Burial will take place at a later date in the spring in St. Peter's Cemetery in Plattsburgh.
