Lillian M. Parrish, 86, of Plattsburgh, died Friday, March 24, 2017, at the UVM Health Network, CVPH, Plattsburgh, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Dannemora, Sept. 22, 1930, the daughter of Edward and Mabel (Perry) Agoney. She grew up in Dannemora and as a teenager the family moved to Plattsburgh.
She married Robert F. Parrish. He predeceased her Aug. 21, 1998.
Lil, as she was fondly referred, worked various jobs locally throughout her life. She was lastly employed at Plattsburgh State University.
She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, working, keeping house, and her beloved pets.
Left to cherish the memory of Lil are, her children, Francis and Sherry Parrish, Roland Parrish, Kenneth and Deb Parrish, and Melanie and Darren Seymour; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings, Richard, Robert, and Hazel; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two sons, Sherman and Robert Steven; and several siblings.
At Lil's request, services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Entombment will be held in the Whispering Maples Mausoleum on the Tom Miller Road in Plattsburgh.
Donations in her memory may be made to St. Luke Children's Hospital or the Elmore SPCA.
