A much loved, Jean I. Miner, 83, of Clinton Street, Redford, N.Y., sadly passed away on March 3, 2017, with her son and daughter-in-law by her side.
Born Nov. 6, 1933, in Plattsburgh, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Earnest and Isabelle (Devens) Fournier. Jean is predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Henry Miner.
She is survived by her devoted and loving only son, Earl H. Miner and daughter-in-law, Christina, of Saranac and a very special grand-daughter Erica and (Jason) Bogett of AuSable Forks, N.Y. Also one brother, Joseph Fournia of Redford and one sister, Monica Wainwright of Rochester; along with several nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 15th, at the Assumption of Mary Church in Redford. A Celebration of Jean's life will follow the Mass at the American Legion Post 1618, Wilson Road, Redford.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Church or Hospice of the North Country at 358 Tom Miller Road.
Jean's burial will take place at 10 a.m. on April 25, 2017 in Church of Assumption Cemetery.
