Elizabeth V. Rosio, age 94, of 16 Flynn Avenue in Plattsburgh and formerly of Au sable Forks, passed away on April 29th at Clinton County Nursing Home with her loving family by her side.
She was born June 2, 1922 in Au sable Forks, the daughter of Joseph and Ida (Miner) Seguin.
Elizabeth married Edward J. Rosio on July 19, 1941 at Holy Name church in Au sable Forks.
She was a chambermaid for many years. Her favorite past times were bowling, bingo and making crafts.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband; three sisters, Marion Darrah, Ruth Wolack, and Rita Habbits; three brothers, Halsey, Albert and Bill Seguin; great-grandson, Robert James Varno.
She is survived by her three daughters, Mary (Howard) Frenia Sr of Florida, Margaret (James) Agnew of Plattsburgh and Barbara (Bill) Smith of Keeseville; six grand-children, Howard Jr (Laura) Frenia, Kevin (Patty) Agnew, Chastity Agnew and her companion Scott McLaughlin, Nikki (James) Varno, Tammy (Kyle) Young, Jason Smith and his companion Jessica Cobb; seven great-grandchildren, Tyler, Zachary, Cierra, Briaunna, Austin, Makayla, Logan; and many nieces and nephews.
At Liz's request there will be no calling hours. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Clinton County Nursing Home.
