Douglas's Story

Douglas M. "Doug" Stevens, 71, of Alden Road, Westport, died unexpectedly, Monday, March 27, 2017, at his home.
He was born in Elizabethtown, May 13, 1945, the son of Arthur and Anna (Lewis) Stevens.
Doug was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, and playing cards. He lived for his grandchildren.
Left to cherish the memory of Doug are, his loving wife of 52 years, Betty Stevens; children, Todd Stevens and wife Patti, Chris Stevens and partner Amy Hall, and Patrick Stevens and partner Leigh Banister; grandchildren, Cal Vincent, Brooke Stevens, Karissa Stevens, Kaiden Stevens, Faith Bona, Sara Smith, and Ashley Glanda; great-grandchildren, Nathan Smith, Isaac Glanda, Zoe Glanda and Isaac Vincent; brother, Lloyd Stevens; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Arley, Lawton, Arthur Jr., Harlan, Foster, Harold, Hazel, Catherine, Arlene, Aletha, and Esther.
At Doug's request there will be no public calling hours or services.
