David C. Ashline, 83, of Willsboro, passed away peacefully at home Thursday, June 28, 2017, surrounded by his loved ones.
He was born Aug. 17, 1933, in Plattsburgh, the son of Charles and Margaret (Taylor) Ashline. David was the President of Ashline Fruit Company. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus. He loved bowling. The most enjoyable thing to him was spending time with his grandchildren, especially playing blocks and play dough with his little princess, Lilly.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and three sons, Curtis Ashline, Chris Ashline and Bobby Ashline.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Marilyn (Waddell) Ashline of Willsboro; five sons, Ward Ashline of Willsboro, Richard and Carolene Ashline of South Glens Falls, Bruce and Brenda Ashline of Johnsburg, Michael Ashline of Willsboro and James and Robyn Ashline of Willsboro; three brothers, Wayne and Yvonne Ashline of Willsboro, Robert and Karen Ashline of Willsboro and Harold Ashline; two sisters, Audrey and Steven Servc of Roint Au Roche and Elizabeth Frum of Point Au Roche; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 6, at the Ross Funeral Home in Willsboro. Donations in David's memory may be made to the Willsboro EMS/Fire Department.
