Virginia passed away at Renown Regional Medical Center. She is predeceased by her mother, Myrtle (Rawson) Duffy and husband, Maynard Jubert.
She is survived by her children, son, Jon Joubert and wife Katie (Dougherty) Joubert, granddaughters, Piper Joubert of San Diego, Calif., and Camille Joubert of Brooklyn, N.Y., daughter, Karen Joubert and granddaughter Cassandra Cueva of Los Angeles, Calif., daughter Shelly Jubert and husband Paul Davis of St Louis, Mo., sister Martha (Duffy) Schmidt of Plattsburgh, N.Y., sister Linda (Duffy) Schointuch of Randlestown, Md., and brother Robert Duffy and wife Monica (Booterbaugh) Duffy of Hollister, Calif., as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Virginia earned her BA in Psychology at SUNY Plattsburgh and went on to volunteer for the Women's Crisis Hot Line. She was employed at the SUNY Plattsburgh Nursing Department for several years. She went on to work as assistant to the President of Clinton Community College of Plattsburgh. Virginia moved out west and volunteered at The Getty Museum in Los Angeles, Calif. Upon her final move to Reno, she worked as a docent at the Reno Art Museum. Other activities she enjoyed included daily walks along the Truckee River and visiting with her neighbors.
