Mr. Timothy W. Moore, 58, of Plattsburgh, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017, at the Plattsburgh Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. He was born in Plattsburgh on Nov. 23, 1958, the son of the late Robert and Doris (Sovay) Moore.
Timothy didn't love school but he loved high steel construction work and traveled across the country working that trade beginning in his late teens. To the end of his life, Tim was a proud member of Albany's Local 12 high steel union. Timothy was a sports fan; loved hockey and the Montreal Canadian's and was one of the few bleeding heart fans of the N.Y. Jets. He never faltered in the often futile devotion that required.
Tim is survived by three children, Kristin Armstrong, Allison Moore, and Zachary Moore, all of Plattsburgh; two brothers, Thomas of Morrisonville, Randy of Florida and a sister, Kathy of Plattsburgh.
He was predeceased by the love of his life, Susan J. Moore and both of his parents.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. Graveside services will be at a later date at St. Augustine's cemetery in Peru.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the North Country.
Arrangements are entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, NY. 12901. (518) 561-3980. Online condolences may be offered at www.brownfuneralhomeinc.com.
