Timmy's Story

Timmy J. Russell, 62, of Court Street, passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 13, 2018. He was born in Plattsburgh on August 5, 1955, the son of Wallace and Joyce (Newell) Russell.
Tim was working in the engineering department at the Meadowbrook Healthcare Facility. He was employed at the facility for over 25 years and was looking forward to his retirement in the upcoming year. Tim enjoyed his job and was a dependable and perfect employee. He also enjoyed those he worked with and many of them felt Tim was a huge part of the success of the facility.
Tim was an avid soccer and hockey fan and also enjoyed coaching the Chazy Youth Hockey Team in his younger years and youth baseball
He enjoyed golfing with his sons, friends, and coworkers, and also spending time going to hunting camp with his father, brothers, uncles.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Bouyea Russell; three sons, Jason Russell, Eric Russell and his companion Melissa Gooley, and Nathan Russell and his wife Leah; five siblings, Judy (Lanny) Relation, Randy (Debbie) Russell, Connie Russell, Gerry (Jennifer) Russell, and Penny (Eddie) Cameron; and three grandchildren, Reid Russell, Lincoln Russell, and Ella Russell.
Tim was predeceased by his parents; one brother, Gary Russell; and his canine companions, Bogart, Humphry, and Ace.
Friends and family are invited to A Celebration of Tim's Life on Friday, Jan. 19th from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Elks Lodge on Cumberland Avenue in Plattsburgh.
