Tia Ayres Wilkson, 43 years old, passed on April 22, 2017, in Springfield, Mass. She was the loving daughter of Katheryn and Denis Chasse of Chester, Vt., a devoted sister, Marni MacPhail, and nephew, Maxwell MacPhail of Plymouth, Mass. She is survived by her children, Tatum Wilkson, a student at Clarkson University in Potsdam, N.Y., and Jacob Wilkson of Greenwich, N.Y. Her father, Tim Ayres and a three-month-old son, B.J. Wilkson, predeceased her. Dr. Charles T. Nephew and Thomas Ayres, both uncles, also predeceased her. Other survivors include an uncle, John W. Nephew of Plattsburgh, stepmother, Susan Ayres of Plattsburgh, stepbrother, Jamie Morris of Jackson-Hole, Wy., and loving cousins. Tia attended Plattsburgh Public Schools in New York and Kennett High School in Conway, N.H. She worked for Saratoga Sod in Saratoga Springs and later partner-owned a sod company.
Memorial services will be held this summer. The Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield, Vt., is assisting the family with arrangements. At the end of her life, her family entrusted her to a loving God who has now filled her with the joy and everlasting peace she sought for many years.
