My heart is breaking. I have known Steve for most of my adult life. I've been wondering why I haven't heard from him in a while. I know that he had suffered a broken heart with the death of his beloved Mary, the death of his father and the turmoil it had put him through. This is choking me up now reading about his death with me so far from home. He has always been there for me. He helped me move during my divorce. I helped him grieve from afar with the loss of Mary and his dad. For those of you that knew him. Think of him next time you watch NASCAR. Think of him next time you hear the fire siren blow. Think of him next time you need that extra hand that he always was willing to give. Love you Steve.Read more
