Jennie, Leslie and Dr. Record - I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. Sharon was an amazing woman. I always felt that she watched out for me after my mom’s accident and later when my mom died. I have a lot of wonderful memories of times at your home when we were young. And seeing her at the school store at Cumberland Head. She always made me feel special so I’m sure being her daughters must have been a blessing. She was a very loving woman and will be missed. Thinking of you all.

I know that words are so inadequate, but know that we are thinking of you and your family at this time. Sharon was such a bright spirit and will be missed by those who knew her well and those who knew her for only a short time. Take care.

Sharon was the most loving and giving friend. From the time we met in collage , she knew what she wanted from life. Duane, to teach, children, to see the world. She did it all with love and gusto. I was so fortunate to have spent a week with her in August and to have had her on my life.

I just spent a beautiful week in Nova Scotia with Sharon and two other friends. We had a marvelous time visiting areas of my Acadian roots, laughing, playing bridge, and enjoying great food and "adult beverages." Sharon was a beautiful person inside and out. She so loved her Duane, girls,"grands" and Ruby. I will greatly miss our winter time in Florida. May you rest in peace, my friend. Love you, Anna
