Ronald G. "Ron" Favreau, 69, of the Meseck Road in Mooers Forks, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017.
He was born at home in Champlain on Jan. 10, 1948, the son of George and Eva (Pettetier) Favreau.
After graduating high school, Ron began work in 1966 as a Class-A Mechanic for Sheridan Ironworks - Harris Graphics. From 1987 to 2000, he worked for Delagar's as their Assistant Production Manager. And then, until his retirement in 2008, Ron worked at Wyeth as a Manufacturing Operator.
In addition to his lifetime devotion to the Knights of Columbus, Ron loved the outdoors and would spend much of his time ice fishing, hunting and golfing.
Left to cherish the memory of Ron is his boy's mom, Elaine Anctil Favreau; companion, Betty Trombley; sons, Kevin and Brent; sister, Anita (Favreau) Poissant; twin brother, Donald C. "Don" Favreau and his wife Sue; grandchildren, Hunter and Parker; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to call from 2 to 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 30, 2017, at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 793 Gilbert Road, Mooers. The Knights of Columbus will hold a service in the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel at 4:30 p.m. A funeral service will be offered by Deacon Noel Hinerth in the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel at 5 p.m. Private burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Mooers.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ronald G. Favreau may be made to the Knights of Columbus Council 3525, and/or the Champlain-Mooers EMS.
