While studying in Vermont, a chance encounter led her to Charles P. Callioras (Chuck). That meeting began a lifelong journey of devoted friendship and love. They were married in the Peru Community Church Saturday July 21, 1984. A true love story that led to a family of 5 including their 3 beloved children.
Robin worked as an Oral Surgeon Assistant for Dr. Dennis O'Hara for many years, and in 2003, along with her husband and children, developed a successful residential and commercial real estate company (Calcom Properties), and several other family businesses. Additionally, Robin coached Track and Field at Peru Central School.
Robin enjoyed spending time with her family, being a loving wife and mother, as well as, exercising, roller blading, hiking in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, skiing, and going for long walks on the beach with her husband at their vacation home located in Cape Cod, Mass. Robin's true love was baking for her family and friends. Robin's incredible beauty, elegance, and grace was unmatched, and is carried on by her children.
Left to cherish the memory of Robin are her loving husband of 33 years, Charles P. Callioras; three loving children, Nicholas, Kristen and Brooke; her parents, Robert and Shirley Leahy; brother, Scott Leahy and several nieces and nephews.
Robin was predeceased by her grandparents, William and Julia Leahy, and Edward and Evelyn Leege.
At Robin's request there will be no public calling hours, but rather a celebration of life ceremony, Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 6pm at the Peru Community Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations to an educational scholarship, in the name of "Robin Leahy Callioras Scholarship" will be accepted.
