Paul F. Hart Sr., 66, of the Peasleeville Road, Schuyler Falls, died Friday, June 30, 2017, at The University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, Vt.
He was born in Plattsburgh, Aug. 9, 1950, the son of David Sr. and Ruth (Bisaillon) Hart. He grew up in Schuyler Falls and graduated from Peru Central High School in 1969.
Following graduation, Paul was drafted into the U.S. Army. He served until his honorable discharge Dec. 22, 1971. He worked for many years at Immperial Paper Mill in Plattsburgh, retired in 1999.
Paul was a member of the American Legion Post 504 in AuSable Forks. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting and fishing.
Left to cherish the memory of Paul are, his loving wife of 44 years, Linda (Duell) Hart; son, Paul F. Hart Jr.(Kristie); daughter, Wanda Boyd (Robert Jr.); grandchildren, Sarah Boyd, Joshua Boyd, Conner Hart and Gavin Hart; sisters, Maryann Paquette, Barbara Ashby and Margaret Bougar; brothers, David Hart Jr., Tracy Hart and their spouses; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his granddaughter, Tiffany Boyd.
Relatives and friends may call from 11 a.m. until noon on Thursday, July 6, at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. Full military honors will be accorded at noon at the Hamilton Veterans Memorial.
Donations in his memory may be made to the American Legion Post 504.
