Mrs. Nancy Zalusky, 81, formerly of Plattsburgh passed away on Aug. 7, 2017, at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, N.C. She was born in Plattsburgh, N.Y., on March 12, 1936, the daughter of Clifford and Evelyn (Lavarnway) Senecal. Nancy retired from Garrand's Nissan after 22 years of service. She enjoyed bowling and playing bingo. Nancy was predeceased by her parents, her husband Leon, her siblings Mary Melhorne, Donald Senecal, Richard Senecal, Lorraine Zablusky and her husband Bennie, Shirley Appleby, Jeanne Boslet, Marjorie "Pepper" Puccetti and her husband Pete, a nephew, Ricky Senecal and a niece, Donna Provost.
She is survived by son Keith Zalusky and his wife Tammy of Plattsburgh, a daughter, Tamara Vantassell and her husband Jason of Statesville, N.C., a brother, Paul Senecal and his wife Bess of West Chazy, two grandchildren, Justin Zalusky and his wife Karen of Buffalo, Samantha McLean and her husband James of Morrisonville, a great-grandson, Thomas McLean of Morrisonville, a sister-in-law, Theresa Senecal of Plattsburgh, two brothers-in-law, Robert Melhorne of Peru, Chris Boslet of Plattsburgh, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, October 2, at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, N.Y.
A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
