Milton L. LaGoy, 85, of AuSable Forks, N.Y., passed away on March 15, 2019, at CVPH in Plattsburgh, N.Y. He was born on Sept. 4, 1933, in Black Brook, N.Y., the son of Mildred (Gokey) and Louis LaGoy.
After graduating from AuSable Forks High School in 1952, he entered the U.S. Navy. He was honorably discharged in 1956. On Sept. 27, 1958, he married Patricia M. Craig. Milton and Patricia owned and operated LaGoy Brothers Lumber in AuSable Forks for many years. In recent years he worked at Citizen Advocates as a Direct Support Professional for disabled adults. He was a loving husband, father and Grampy who left wonderful memories in the hearts of those who loved him so much.
Milt is survived by his daughter, Jessica Locklin, son-in-law, Brian and his grandchildren, Emily and Jonathan.
Milt and Patricia were predeceased by an infant son.
Calling hours will be held at Thwaits-Zaumetzer Funeral Home, 3 College St., AuSable Forks, on Friday, March 22nd, from 2 to 4 p.m.
