Michael J. Bombard, 55, of the Silver Lake Road, AuSable Forks, died Tuesday, July 10, 2018 in AuSable Forks.
He was born in Plattsburgh, Oct. 9, 1962, the son of Marvin, Sr. and Elizabeth (Aubin) Bombard. Michael grew up in AuSable Forks and graduated from AuSable Valley High School in 1980.
He was Chief Sawyer at Ward Lumber, where he has been a loyal and dedicated employee for more than 30 years.
Michael had a love for the outdoors, hunting and camping with his family, and especially cherished spending his days with his most precious granddaughter, Charley.
His happiest days were spending time with his family and friends on their side-by-side adventures, exploring new trails or another mountain to climb.
Left to cherish the memory of Michael are, his wife of five years, Debra S. Bombard, whom he married, June 4, 2013 in Maui, Hawaii; children, Michael Bombard and his companion, Leigh-Ann Wenzel and Jenna Seguin and her husband, Kevin; beloved granddaughter, Charlotte "Charley" Seguin; brother and sister-in-law, Marvin and Peg Bombard; niece, Stacy Pelkey; nephew, Travis Bombard; great-nieces, Kelci and Aubrey; great-nephew, Kobe James.
He was predeceased by his father, Marvin Bombard Sr.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, July 15, 2018 from Noon to 3 PM at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. A Mass Of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Monday, July 16, 2018 at 11 AM at the Holy Name Church in AuSable Forks with Rev. Kris C. Lauzon, parish priest, celebrating. Committal prayers and burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Town of Black Brook Playground.
