Marjorie G.(Greta) Webb, 86, of Malone, died Friday July 6, 2018 at the Alice Center, Malone. Born Dec. 25, 1931 in Rockburn, Quebec, Canada, she was the daughter of George A. and Greta Lindsay Farquhar.
Mrs. Webb attended school in Huntingdon and was employed at Kline and Tinker Woolen Factory in Huntingdon.
On August 25, 1952, she married Richard I. Webb at the Rectory in Huntingdon, Quebec. After moving to Malone, she was employed as a machine operator for sixteen years at the Malone Dress Factory.
Marjorie loved music, she played the piano, was a very good step dancer, but mostly, she enjoyed spending time with family.
She is survived be her husband, Dick; two sons, Dean of Malone, Richard Jr. and his wife, Mary of Fitchburg, Mass.; a daughter, Karen, Mrs. Dale Myatt of Morrisonville, N.Y.; grandchildren, Christopher of Leominster, Mass., Jared Myatt and his wife, Katie of Malone, Adam Myatt and his wife, Morgan of Balston Lake, N.Y.; great grandchildren, Aaron, Bethany, Adalia, Cordelia, Elyse, Phinehas and Terian; and a brother, Ronald Farquhar; and a sister, Gertie Renaud of Huntingdon.
She was predeceased by a son, George; brothers, Stanly, Mervyn, Leslie and Gerald Farquhar; and sisters, Beryl Pawl, Jean Porter, and Olive LaFrombois.
Those wishing to give a memorial gift, the family requests consideration be given to the Alzheimers Association.
There are no calling hours, a private prayer service will be held at the convenience of the family.
