Lois J. LaBelle, 80, formerly of Susan Lane, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017, at Clinton County Nursing Home with family by her side. She was born in Montreal, Quebec, on Feb. 4, 1937, daughter of the late James and Clara (Wylie) McNeil.
Lois was employed by Sears in Plattsburgh for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and she also enjoyed shopping.
She is survived by her two children, Pamela Juneau and her husband, Bruce of Chazy, Darwin J. LaBelle of Plattsburgh; a sister, Doreen Mulcahy of Calgary, Alberta; three grandchildren, Bradley LaBelle, Bruce Juneau III, Jossalin Juneau; and several nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Darwin LaBelle passed away in 2008. Her sisters and brothers-in-law, Marion McNeil and companion William Snyder, Claire "Sissy" and Emile Bosjolie, May and Ronnie Finley, and George Mulcahy also passed away earlier.
Calling hours will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, September 22, at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad Street, Plattsburgh. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery in Plattsburgh.
