Lisa M. Williams

October 08, 1968 - January 30, 2019

Lisa M. Williams With heavy hearts and much sadness the family of Lisa M. Williams, 50, of Gougeville Spring Road, Cadyville, N.Y., share the surreal news of her passing on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2019. Lisa's journey began in Plattsburgh, N.Y., on Oct. 8, 1968, the daughter of John and Kathleen (St. Germain) Williams.
Lisa earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Plattsburgh State University and was employed at Wyeth
Pharmaceuticals prior to embarking on adventures to Oregon and Califormia. She recently returned home to begin anew. Her creativity and true nature was expressed through Mandala art therapy. She enjoyed listening to music and spending time with her family, friends, and felines Cali and Siri.
With a larger than life personality, Lisa had a presence, a radiant smile, and golden waves that accentuated her beauty and her spirit. She is deeply missed and will forever live on in our hearts and minds. Our memories are everlasting, and we are blessed to have shared such moments with her.
Of comfort is that she is now reunited with her father, John; brother, Terry; and nephew, Todd.
Those lives forever changed include her mother, Kathleen; sisters, Kathy Bishop and Tina Fassett; nieces and nephews, Misty Williams, Mindy Williams, Roswell Fassett, James Bishop III, and Jessica Williams; aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, Feb. 4, 2019, from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. Burial will be later in the year at St. Peter's Cemetery in Plattsburgh.
For those so inclined, consideration may be given to making a donation to the SPCA, as a tribute to Lisa's love of animals.
Arrangements are entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, N.Y., (518) 561-3980. Online condolences may be offered at

Lisa was wonderful. I'm truly sorry of her passing. She was a dear friend. Every bit of my strength and condolences to her family. I spent 1990-1994 in Plattsburgh, where she was an integral part of our special group of friends. A dear soul - who lives on.
