Kathleen A. Purick, 77, of the Murphy Road, Peru, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018, at the UVM Health Network, CVPH, Plattsburgh.
She was born in Plattsburgh, Dec. 6, 1940, the daughter of James and Ruth (Lahue) Moran.
Kathleen was raised in Keeseville. She married Wilbur M. Purick Jr. on May 11, 1960, and together they had four children.
Kathleen enjoyed the outdoors, photography, traveling, horses, coy ponds, and was an avid gardener.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Wilbur M. Purick Jr.; children, William M. Purick and wife Cheryl, David J. Purick and wife Darcy, Sue L. Purick and her husband James H., and Keith L. Purick; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and siblings, James Moran and Beatrice Quinn.
In addition to her parents, Kathleen was predeceased by her brother, Patrick Moran.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, Jan. 8, 2018, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, Jan. 8, 2018, at Noon, at St. John's Church, Keeseville, with the Rev. Kris C. Lauzon celebrating.
