Judy's Story

Judy Lynn Haywood, 52, of the Dry Bridge Road, AuSable Forks, died unexpectedly on Sunday, June 18, 2017, at her home.
She was born in Keene Valley, Sept. 21, 1964, the daughter of Richard and Iona (Smith) Bouyea, Sr.
Judy Lynn graduated from AuSable Valley Central School. She later worked several jobs but was most passionate in her career for the care of elderly people at Uihlein, located in Lake Placid, N.Y. Judy Lynn's love for her family and friends was second to none. One of her favorite things to do was lay in the warm sun, whether she was with her daughter-in-law in New York or with her brother and sister in Florida. Jude was always trying to find a way to spoil her son in some small way, little tokens of love that will be missed. Most days, Judy Lynn could be found side by side with her best friend and daughter, Heather. They were inseparable, just the way mom liked it. Her true passion and calling in life was being a grandmother. When she became a Nana, it was easy to tell, that was her purpose in life. Her grandchildren will greatly miss the love and attention from Nana.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Eric Forgette; son and daughter-in-law, Robert Jr. and Jennifer Haywood; four grandchildren, William Robert, Kennedy Rue, Kinsley Rose, and Joey Rae; brother and wife, Richard Jr. and Elizabeth Bouyea; sister and husband, Carolyn and John Martin; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents; Judy Lynn was predeceased by her sister, Marlene Jessey; mother-in-law, Mary Haywood; and father-in-law, Bill Haywood from a previous marriage, whom she cherished greatly.
Relatives and friends are invited to call from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 22, 2017, at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. A Funeral Service will be held at 5:30 p.m. in the Hamilton funeral Home Chapel, with Fr. Kris Lauzon officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 23, 2017, in the Fairview Cemetery, AuSable Forks.
