James A. "Jim" Manor, 51, of Rouses Point, died unexpectedly, Saturday, March 3, 2018, at his home.
He was born in Plattsburgh, Jan. 9, 1967, the son of Roy and Doreen (Saunders) Manor.
Jim was a beloved husband and father. He lived life to make his little girl smile. Jim worked for 27 years at Pfizer Pharmaceutical (formerly Wyeth) where he worked hard and met many great people over the years. He cherished the years he had there and had just recently been released from his duties and was learning to love being a stay at home Daddy for the time. Jim served his country fresh out of high school in the Army Reserves until he was honorably discharged in 1999.
Anyone that knew Jim knows he was a huge Montreal Canadians fan! He loved those boys win or lose, he was a true fan. Jim's greatest accomplishment and love in life was his family. He lived a life that suited Jim. He was a man of few words, but had a huge heart. He will be beyond missed and never forgotten.
Jim is survived by his wife of 13 years, Shana (Blain) and what completed his family, Dalyce Jaymes, his 8 year old daughter. He is also survived by a step-daughter, Ciara Lemieux of Champlain; his mother, Doreen Manor of Champlain; his brother, Larry Manor and wife Robin of Champlain; his sister, Lauria Cayea and husband Kevin of Champlain; and many nieces and nephews.
