James W.


James W. "Jim" Frank, 56, of Locust Lane, Keeseville, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019, at the UVM Health Network, CVPH in Plattsburgh, with his loved ones by his side.
He was born in Cornwall, Ontario, July 25, 1962, the son of Wilfred Anthony and Addie Emily (Deschambeault) Frank. He grew up in Constable, graduating from Franklin Academy High School in 1980 and in 1982 earned an Associate Degree in Automobile Electronics from SUNY Alfred.
He began his career at Knight Automotive and worked there for 21 years achieving the title of Elite Master Tech. He and Tanya attended the Tournament of Champions award trips for the top 20 Elite Master Technicians in the Country, for several years, where he was ranked in the top five Elite Master Technicians.
Jim had many hobbies and enjoyed working on and collecting vintage snowmobiles and outboard motors with his son. He also enjoyed camping in Canada on the St. Lawrence River where he had many friends and extended families, and was an avid fan of Dale Earnhardt Sr. and John Force.
Left to cherish the memory of Jim are, his son, Cory James Frank; wife, Tanya (Bourdeau) Frank; step-daughters, Amy (Jason) Lemieux and Stefanie Blaise and her companion Dave Warner Jr.; grandchildren, Kassie (Josh) Ashline, Kolby Blaise, Sydney Lemieux, and Ryleigh and Mickael Blaise; great-grandchildren, Malaki Arleigh and Serenity Marie; two brothers, Andre and George Grenon; brother-in-law, Joseph Bourdeau; and sister-in-law, Mary (Bourdeau) Miller.
Calling hours will be held Monday, Feb. 25, 2019, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. A funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. in the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William G. Reamer, officiating. A spring burial Mass will be celebrated Monday, May 6, 2019, at 11 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church in Keeseville. Committal prayers and burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery.
Donation in his memory may be made to the Constable Volunteer Fire Dept.
