Jacquelyn H. Agoney, 81, of Ellenburg Depot, passed away Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018, at Fletcher Allen Healthcare in Burlington, Vt.
She was born July 20, 1936, in Rochester, N.Y., the daughter of Floyd and Mary Louise (Coty) Shea. Her family writes: "Our mom was a wonderful woman with a huge heart. She loved her children with all her heart, and even adopted a few that she also loved very much. She was a kind hearted woman and tried to do everything for everyone. Her kids were her life and she raised them, loved them and understood them to the best of her ability. Mom, we love you and you will be missed."
Jacquelyn was predeceased by her parents; her lifetime companion, Frank Dandrow; one son, Joseph Agoney; one brother, Richard Shea; and four sisters, Louise Prince, Della Casachino, Margaret Corona and Rita Beggy.
Left behind to cherish the memory of Jacquelyn are her daughter, Cecille Dandrow of Plattsburgh; four sons, William Agoney of Plattsburgh, Richard Agoney and his wife, Joanna of South Carolina, Frank Dandrow Jr. of Ellenburg, Donald Dandrow and his wife Peg of Arizona; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her pride and joy, her grandson, Mickle Dandrow. Also her very close friend, Brenda Rabideau, who was like a daughter to her and part of the family.
Calling hours will be Saturday, March 3, 2018, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Ross Funeral Home in Mooers. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
