Herman J. "Diddy" Rabideau Jr., 86, of Route 11, passed away, Monday, June 11, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Mooers, N.Y. on June 24, 1931, the son of Clara and Herman J. Rabideau Sr.

As a child I lived on the Plank Rd. There was a major road construction where all the stone walls were taken out and the road was completely overhauled. My dad, Isreal Dubrey knew Mr. Rabideau well. If I remember my family history correctly, Mrs. Rabideau, went to school with my sister, Polly (Olive) Brelia and were the best of friends. Later in school, I met DIane, and Terry as classmates. After graduation, we went our separate ways to meet up again when I started working at NACS. I was blessed with working with Tracy and getting to know her family again. A very special family that started with Herman and Rhoda. They did an excellent job teaching and modeling good morals and judgeme...nt for their children; which they passed down to their children and grandchildren. Herman will be missed greatly but with love in their hearts. Love and Hugs, MaeRead more
