Hazel Huntley, 99, passed away peacefully at the Essex Center in Elizabethtown, N.Y.
She was born in Moriah on Oct. 31, 1918. She lived for many years in Westport before moving to Lord Howe Estates in Ticonderoga where she was one of the original tenants.
She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Huntley, and her parents, John Henry Laing and Frances McGinnis Laing. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Lillian, Mabel, Mazie and Bessie along with her brothers, Louis, Lester, John and Raymond.
She is survived by her son, Donald Huntley (Bev), and daughters, Bonnie Brannock and Julie Bartlett (David). Also survived by seven grandchildren, Rick Huntley, Chrissy Johnson, Laurie Burns, Brian Hood, David Hood, Michael Bartlett and Mark Bartlett. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Shirley Laing and nephew, Clifford Laing.
Hazel was so appreciative of the kindness and attention given to her by the employees of the McDonald's in Ticonderoga.

Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Wilcox-Regan Funeral Home, 11 Algonkin St., Ticonderoga.
A funeral service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Scott Tyler, Pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Ticonderoga, will officiate.
Interment will take place in the spring at the family plot in Valley View Cemetery in Ticonderoga.
