Francis Craig Lawrence, 67, of Wall Street, passed away Jan. 10, 2018, at the CVPH Medical Center.
He was born in Plattsburgh on April 3, 1950, the son of Frederick and Vanetta (Ormsbe) Lawrence.
Francis was passionate about baking and enjoyed working as a baker at Dunkin Donuts and at Price Chopper in Plattsburgh. He enjoyed woodworking and using his talented hands to build various things, including gun cabinets and desks.
Survivors include his loving companion, Beverly Strack; two step-daughters, Rhonda Strack and Lisa Ash; three sisters, Sheila (Dave) Stark, Sharron (Pat) Collins, and Janet (Ronnie) Trombley; four grandchildren, Tanasia Strack, Sean Strack, Timothy "TJ" Rock and Colby Rock; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
Entombment will take place in Whispering Maples Memorial Gardens in Ellenburg Depot.
