Faith Spears, 62, of Chantecler Court, passed away Feb. 24, 2018, at the CVPH Medical Center.
She was born in Plattsburgh on Jan. 17, 1956, daughter of Eugene and Vera (Hargett) Burnell Sr.
Faith's family was the most important thing in her life. Her caring and giving nature was evident in all that she did. She loved listening to all types of music, especially country, and her infectious laugh will be missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her children, Carl (Barbara) Carlew, Robin (Erol) Carlew, Harold "Ray" (Kimberly) Carlew, Faith Ann (Nick) Provost, Shawn Spears and companion Sasha Ducharme, and Alan Spears; three sisters, Claudia and Ellsworth "Spud" Brown, Wendy Decker, and Donna and Tim Stanton; nineteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Faith was predeceased by one son, Eric Carlew on July 27, 2016; her first husband, Carl Carlew on Nov. 17, 2013, and second husband, Donald Spears on June 22, 2011; and one brother, Gene Burnell on Nov. 17, 2017.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home.
Donations in her memory may be made to the H.K. Freedman Renal Center in Plattsburgh.
