Evelina T. Gravell, 84, of Hopkinton Lane, AuSable Forks, died on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at her daughter's home under the loving care of her family and High Peaks Hospice.
She was born in Malone on Oct., 25, 1933, the daughter of the late John and Delia (Chivelier) Rivers.
Evelina liked her game show networks, reading, word search puzzles and spending time with her family. She held numerous jobs over her life with the last being Masonic Home and Hospital as a housekeeper in Wallingford, Conn. When she was able to go to church she loved singing in the choir at the Methodist Church in Keesville.
Survivors include her children, Carol Gravell, Thirl (Debbie) Gravell, Greg (Norma) Gravell, Paul Gravell, and Darlene (Richard) Jaquish; 13 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 37 years, Carlton Gravell; 17 brothers and sisters; her daughter-in-law, Tina Gravell; and 2 grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to call from 5-7 PM on Friday, May 18 at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 124 Clinton Street, Keeseville. A Funeral Service will be held at 7 PM in the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Peggi Eller, presiding.
