Mr. Earl F. Gregory, 73, of Gregory Lane in Plattsburgh, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017 at the UVM Medical Center in Burlington, Vt., with family by his side. He was born in Lyon Mountain on Oct. 31, 1943, the son of the late Roy and Lillian (Garrow) Gregory. Earl and his spouse were the managers of the Abenaki Mobile Home Park for many years. Earl was a workaholic and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis (Garsow) Gregory whom he married July 13, 1968, a son and daughter-in-law, Earl F. and Valerie Gregory Jr., of Jay, N.Y., his brother and sisters-in-law, Bernard and Debbie Gregory, Mamie Gregory, all of Ellenburg; his sisters, Lynn Duval of Chateaugay, Susan and Paul Duval, Judy Gregory, Nancy Gregory, all of Ellenburg; his grandsons, Robert, William and Aaron, and several nieces and nephews.
His parents, a daughter Tammy Gregory, his brothers, Gerald, Donald, Paul, and John Gregory, his sisters, Lillian Baker and Mary King, a niece, Laurie Dashnaw and nephews Dean Provost and Kyle Joseph, passed away earlier.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, June 23, at St. Bernard's Church in Lyon Mountain. Inurnment will follow in the parish cemetery.
