Duwane "Fudd" Seymour, 76, formerly of Peru, died Monday, Dec. 11, 2017, at Meadowbrook Healthcare Facility.
He was born in Plattsburgh, Feb. 2, 1941, the son of Clarence and Evelyn "Laramie" Seymour.
Fudd was an Army Veteran. He married Monique Pilon on Nov. 20, 1965, at Notre Dame of Grace Church in Longueil, Quebec. He was a former member of St. John the Baptist Church in Keeseville and Right to Life.
Duwane was a lineman for NYSEG for 30 years.
Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Seymour, Patrick and Amy Seymour, Kevin and Carie Seymour, Derrick Seymour; two brothers, Rodney Seymour and Robert and Barbara Seymour; a sister, Nancy and Charles Racette; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Fudd is predeceased by his parents, his wife Monique and his son Daniel.
Services will be private at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home, Plattsburgh.
Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Keeseville at a later date.
