Dennis Flagg, 76, of Hill Street, Keeseville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 12, 2019, at the UVM Health Network, CVPH, Plattsburgh, with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Jay, N.Y., Sept. 20, 1942, the son of Dennis and Elizabeth (Reincore) Flagg.
Dennis was a mechanic for over 40 years.
He enjoyed fishing with his best friend (Chum) Leo King and being with his family.
Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Yvonne; four daughters, Shelrae Tate and her companion David Bowen of Keeseville, Robin Rock of Keeseville, Lilcinda Joy of Vermont, and Jeanna Bessey and husband Brian of Rouses Point; 10 grandchildren, Lorraine, Michael, Cassandra, Renee, Magan, Jamie, Dennis, Kevin, Jennifer, and Makayla; 18 great-grandchildren; and lifelong friend, Sylvia King.
In addition to his parents, Dennis was predeceased by his brother, Harry Flagg; best friend, Leo King; and mother-in-law, Lillian Jaquish.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, May 18, 2019, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. in the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel.

I knew Dennis for many years. I dated his grandson Dennis. This man had a beautiful heart and soul, he was always so kind and loving toward me and my son son Jay. I had the pleasure of taking care of Dennis while he was in the hospital, he always had a smile on his face Everytime he saw me walk into his room❤️ Dennis and his family are in my heart and prayers, I'm so sorry for your loss, I love you all so very much❤️❤️ Fly high Dennis you are very missed and loved very much by so many❤️

Dennis was a man of few words but a heart of gold. Dennis will be greatly missed by all who loved him. I had the honor of having Dennis as part or my life from the time I was born. Fly high my friend love you.
