Colin A. Plumadore, 54, of Silver Lake Rd., passed away unexpectedly of a medical event, Monday, July 9th on Mirror Lake in Lake Placid.
He was born in Plattsburgh on Oct. 31, 1963, the son of Robert and Alice (Coughlin) Plumadore.
Cole retired from Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora after 26 years. He was a master carpenter, building traditional Adirondack guide boats and Lean-tos. Cole enjoyed the outdoors, boating with his children, spending time with his family, weekly golfing trips with his buddies and many other interests. He was especially proud of his children.
Survivors include his father, Robert Plumadore of Clayburg; his wife, Carrie Plumadore of Clayburg; his children, Dylan of Clayburg and Amy of Plattsburgh; his siblings, Keith Plumadore and his wife Karen, Stacy Plumadore, Lee Plumadore and his wife Holly, Rebecca Bassett and her husband James; several nieces and nephews.
Cole was predeceased by his mother, Alice in 2007.
Per Cole's wishes, services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Cole was a genuine, honest and caring man. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
