Clarinda A. Boadway, 81, of the Number 5 Road, Chateaugay, died Friday, July 21, 2017, at The Alice Center, Malone, under the loving care of Hospice of the North Country.
Born on Oct. 21, 1935, in Churubusco, N.Y., she was the daughter of Arthur and Eleanor (Robare) Hebert.
She was married to Lloyd Boadway on Sept. 15, 1956, in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Churubusco.
Mrs. Boadway graduated from Chateaugay Central School. She was a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. She helped her husband with the family farm and was a foster parent for several children.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years; five children and their spouses, Donald Boadway of Chateaugay, Darrell and Kim Boadway of Pleasantville, Ky., Gary Boadway and his companion, Kathy McKenna of Chateaugay, Kevin Boadway and his companion, Joanne Rogers of Bloomfield, N.Y., Lisa and Mark Ewing of Mount Morris, N.Y.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Marsha Bullington of Adams Center.
She was predeceased by her parents; a sister, Marie Eiss; two brothers, Raymond and Homer Hebert and three brothers in infancy.
There are no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, July 24, in St. Edmund's Church, Ellenburg.
Burial will take place at Immaculate Heart Cemetery.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Ellenburg Fire Department or Hospice of the North Country.
