Charlene Wolff Charlene Wolff passed away peacefully on Nov. 29, 2018, at Deerings Nursing Home in Odessa, Texas. She was born on Sept. 10, 1950, in Glendale, N.Y., the daughter of Charles and Helen Bolvig. She graduated from Long Beach High School before beginning a career as a secretary for Brooklyn Union Gas. She left this position to work on raising her family. In 1986 she moved to Ellenburg Center, N.Y., where she worked as a teachers aide at Northern Adirondack Central School. She was very involved in the church, belonging to the Altar Rosary Society as well as the Catholic Daughters at St. Edmunds Church. In 2008, she began a new chapter of her life when she moved to Odessa, Texas. Charlene enjoyed taking trips to the beach and spent many days as a child at Long Beach in Long Island. She also loved spending time with her children and taking vacations with her family.
She is survived by her two children, Charles Wolff and his wife Amy Wolff of Champlain, N.Y., and Barbara Ann Wolff of Odessa, Texas; her sister and brother-in-law, John and Lois Pergamo of Haines City, Fla.; her granddaughters Mikaela Carey and Sophie Wolff of Champlain, N.Y.; and her adopted daughter, Stormy Pittman of Odessa, Texas.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Dec. 21, 2018, at St. Peter's Church, 114 Cornelia St., Plattsburgh, N.Y.
