Carmelia "Carm"'s Story
Carm was born in Champlain, N.Y., on July 9, 1930, and passed away on Feb. 14, 2018, in Sun City, Ariz. She was the daughter of Alphonse and Corrine Bechard of Coopersville, N.Y.
She was a graduate of Champlain Central School - Class of 1947. She was also a graduate of Central City Business Institute in Syracuse, N.Y.
She was employed by the city of Syracuse for many years in their Financial Department. After retiring she moved to Sun City, Ariz., where she spent much of her time pursuing her favorite hobby - playing golf.
Carm was predeceased by her loving husband of 38 years, Fred Edick as well as her sister, Geraldine Baker and brother, Jack Bechard.
Left to cherish her memory are six sisters and two brothers - Ruby Martineau of Winter Springs, Fla., Gloria Turner of Peoria, Ariz., Claudette Navara of Liverpool, N.Y., June Trombley of Mooers Forks, N.Y., Richard Bechard of Plattsburgh, N.Y., Glenn Bechard of Dennis, Mass., Brenda Duquette of Plattsburgh, N.Y., and Donna Bechard of Plattsburgh, N.Y., and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date in Clinton, N.Y.
