Betty A. Tobrocke, 90, of Boynton Ave, passed away peacefully Monday, Jan. 8, 2018 with her loving family by her side. She was born in Saranac Lake, N.Y. on Nov. 24, 1927, the daughter of Clarence and Bertha (Hart) Bedore. Betty worked at the Royal Savage for many years.
She enjoyed spending time with her family at the lake and traveling to visit her siblings. Betty was an avid NY Yankees fan and she was a member of St. Peter's Church.
She was predeceased by her parents; her former husband Rollind "Toby" Tobrocke; her siblings, Isabelle Stringham, Madeline Lutters, Dorothy Filion, Norma Fountain, Lois Bedore, Gail Bedore and Ricky Bedore.
Betty is survived by her children, Karl Tobrocke of Plattsburgh, Karen Tobrocke of Plattsburgh, Kurt (Cheryl) Tobrocke of Plattsburgh, Trudi (Gary) Bouvia of Plattsburgh, Fritz (Joni-Jill) Tobrocke of Plattsburgh, Heidi Tobrocke of Plattsburgh, Hans (Lorraine) Tobrocke of Hartford, Conn.; her brother, Donald Bedore of Plattsburgh; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Friday, Jan. 12, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, NY 12901. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St. Peter's Church. Interment will be at a later date at St. Peter's Cemetery.
Friends wishing may make donations to St. Peter's Church or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
Betty's family is extremely grateful for the care she received at CVPH-Medical Center and Meadowbrook Health Care Facility.
