A Mass of Christian burial for Bernard A. Barber, 92, formerly of Mason Street, Morrisonville, and more recently of Lake Street, Rouses Point, was held Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019, at 11 O'clock in the morning at St. Alexander's Church, 1 Church Street, Morrisonville. Bernard died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019, at the UVM Health Network, CVPH in Plattsburgh, with his loving family by his side. Rev. Scott R. Seymour, parish priest, celebrated. Organist was Ben Reavis. Vocalist was Norma Begor. Altar servers were David Pereira and Robert Mertz. The Pall was placed by his daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and Robert Conners and Mary and Tom Sears, and great-granddaughters, Elizabeth Rawleigh and Emily Conners. The crucifix was placed by great-granddaughter, Amanda Vaughn. The rosary and special Ski-Doo hat were placed by great-granddaughter, Fiana Conners. Words of remembrance were offered by granddaughter, Tammy Spoor. Readers were granddaughter, Michelle Vaughn and granddaughter-in-law, Shannon Conners. The Eucharistic Gifts were presented by granddaughters, Elizabeth Begor and Tina Jubert. Pallbearers were grandson, William Conners, grandsons-in-law, Lee Vaughn, Jamy Begor, Ricky Jubert, and Randy Spoor, great-grandson, Ethan Vaughn, great-grandson-in-law, Kolby Rawleigh, and great-great-grandson, Brantley Rawleigh. A reception followed in the St. Alexander's Church Jubilee Hall. Committal prayers and burial will be held in the spring in St. Alexander's Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to the Morrisonville Fire Department or 260 Lake Street Activities Room.
