A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated for Ann Manson Main, on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at 10 a.m., at Notre Dame Church of St. Andre Bessette Parish, in Malone, N.Y. The principal celebrant was Rev. Joseph W. Giroux, pastor. The Mass was concelebrated by Rev. Msgr. Dennis Duprey who preached the homily, Rev. Garry B. Giroux who led the committal prayers, Rev. Scott Belina who proclaimed the Gospel, Rev. Thomas Higman, Rev. William Reamer, Rev. Scott Seymour, Rev. Francis "Vinney" Flynn, and Rev. Shane M. Lynch. Adult Acolytes were Daniel Benware, Joseph Dufort, and Mary Anne Duso. Greeters were Thomas Dumont, Lori Lepine, and Sasha Marceau. Organist was Marie-Claire D'Arcy, and the pianists were Angelo Pietropaoli and Sheila Maneely. Cantor was Thomas H. McCann, Esq. Flutist was Denise McLane, saxophonist was Watson Chodat, and the vocalists were Elizabeth Guerin and Madonna Champagne. The pall was placed on the casket by her children, Robert G. Main Jr. and Lucy Ann Main, along with Kalpana Reddy and Mary Kay Tulloch. A Crucifix was placed on the casket by Lucy Ann Main. The Old Testament Reading was read by Kathy Ellis, and the New Testament Reading was read by M. Gayle Seymour. The Prayers of the Faithful were read by Brent Charland. Offertory Gifts were presented by Mary Alys Killian, Betty LaHart, and Mary Kay Tulloch. A Eulogy was given by Robert G. Main Jr. Pallbearers were Thomas C. Cardinal Jr., Thomas C. Cardinal Sr., Wayne R. Duso, Bryan J. Hughes, Esq., Glenn Lamica, Brian Langdon, Timothy Marlow, Myrna Sanchez, M.D. and Rajiv Shah, M.D. The funeral procession was lead by Sgt. Barry Cartier and Sgt. Sean Fleury of the Franklin County Sheriff's Department. Court Officers of the Unified Court System formed an Honor Guard on the church steps. Members of the Franklin County Bar Association and visiting attorneys and judges were present in a body. Burial was in Morningside Cemetery, in Malone, N.Y.
