Ann's Story

Ann Frenyea, 85, passed away Feb. 25, 2018, at CVPH (Skilled Nursing Unit), surrounded by her loving family. Ann was born Nov. 4, 1932.
Ann enjoyed listening to country music and dancing the night away with her friends. Ann loved camping and traveling with friends and family, and going to Florida for the winter. Ann loved her family so very much, her family was her life. Making memories while having everyone together for a home cooked meal made her very happy. She loved baking her famous apple pies and wonderful Christmas cookies. Ann had a smile that would light up a room and a contagious laugh.
Ann is survived by her four children, Leeward (Mary) Frenyea, Mooers Forks, N.Y., Dale Frenyea, Fruitland Park ,Fla., Cheryl Ingram (Rudy), Vandalia, Ohio, and Lisa (Richard) Vanmoerkerque, Churubusco, N.Y.; nine grandchildren, Robert, Heather, Heaven, Summer, Sky, Trevor, Sprague, Kayla and Dustin; eight great-grandchildren, Jazlyne, Issac, Alexander, Morgan, Jack, Micah, Maya and Grayson, and many nieces and nephews. Ann is also survived by her sister, Velma Martin, sister-in-law, Mary Buckley, brother-in-law, Glenn Amrhein. Ann is predeceased by her parents, Raymond Buckley Sr. and Velma Roberts-Buckley, husband, Leward Frenyea, brothers, Raymond Buckley Jr., Lawrence Buckley, sister, Mable Amrhein, brother-in-law, Hugh Martin, and daughter-in-law, Joyce Frenyea.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, February 28th, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Ross Funeral Home in Mooers, N.Y. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, March 1st at 10:30 a.m. at St. Ann's Church in Mooers Forks.
